Because I've been speculating on the connections between Fate of the Jedi and the Legacy comics (I blame [profile] jainamsolo's post about Outcast) and certain hypotheses fill me with glee ([profile] comedownstairs is not helping me be less flaily about it) and things.

In a fit of masochism disguised as "figuring things out for future RP canon catchup purposes" I was rereading the NJO Force Heretic trilogy the other day. (Oh god, those books are painful, I totally just read them for the SURPRISE RANDOM SLASHY SUBTEXT. I don't know.) Said fit of masochism led to me sort of halfway re-skimming the Dark Nest books. Because I'm stupid or something, I don't know.

Anyway, there was this one line in there that made me all keysmashy, having read Legacy of the Force and looking back on this.

From the end of Dark Nest 3:

"Jacen has obviously given this a lot of thought," Luke said, raising his hands for quiet. "Why don't we hear him out?"

"Because hearing Jacen out is dangerous," Tahiri said, glaring at Jacen. "He says one thing and means another."

JESUS, TROY DENNING. WAY TO FORGET YOU WROTE THAT LINE. *headdesk*

*ahem* I'm fine now, really.
